Blue Mountains Retreat

Quality Blue Mountains Retreat

The Guesthouse - Blue Mountains Retreat

The guesthouse is a large *State Heritage listed Mediterranean style villa ~ built in 1923 and set amongst 6000 sq metres of cool climate garden with spectacular views to the World Heritage Blue Mountains National park to the north and the city lights to the east.

The house has been decorated with a mixture of antique and modern fittings, to give the feel of a wealthy holiday Blue Mountains retreat between the 1920s and 1950s.

The north-facing house and cottage with 14-inch thick-stuccoed walls are warm and sunny in winter and cool and airy in summer. Many of our guests say that it reminds them of hill stations in the tropics to escape the heat or mountain villas in Tuscany or Cape Town.

The guesthouse suites offer bed and breakfast accommodation and are located in the west wing. There are four separate bedrooms each with a private bathroom.

Guesthouse suites are reserved for adults only and children over 12 years of age.

Two of the bathrooms have double spa baths. The child friendly Maids Quarters is located in the East wing. The Chauffeurs cottage is located in the garden and is suitable for couples or small families.
