The ‘recently renovated and extended ‘Chauffeur’s cottage’ provides romantic and private accommodation for couples in the original cottage or newly constructed Annex. These two venues can be combined for family or small group accommodation.
The 60 square metre original Chauffeur’s cottage includes a queen bedroom, full kitchen, living and dining area. The large bathroom has a separate shower and 180 cm bath. A 140 cm smart television provides access to Netflix. Free wifi is also available. There is an outside deck with bar-be-que. The cottage is suitable for well behaved pets and is centrally heated with ceiling fans in case (unusually) of hot weather. The Cottage is booked as self contained with a minimum 2 night stay. Guests are welcome in Silvermere’s dining room for a full country breakfast but note that extra charges will apply.
Cots and high chairs can be provided on request but there are no facilities for small children or extra adults unless the Annex is also booked.
The Annex can sleep two adults plus and additional child in a spacious 25 square metre room. The king bed can be split into twins on request. There is a shower ensuite and a small private deck. If only the Annex is booked free breakfast is available in the guesthouse. There is no kitchen but a fridge is provided.
Laundry and Bar-be-que facilities are available for guests of the Chauffeur’s cottage and Annex.
I've been to Silvermere about five times and it has always been the same. Fantastic. All times I stayed in the Chauffeurs Cottage, a self-contained cottage separate to the main residence. A few comments: Location: Short walk to Wentworth Falls shops, easy to find.
Room: Spotless, centrally heated.
Service: Exceptional, friendly, goes the extra mile (e.g. my partner asked hosts to organise flowers and fruit platter for me on my arrival once - gorgeous!)
Sleeping: Great queen bed with lovely quilt & crisp linen.
Bathroom: Long comfortable spa bath for two. Great shower with generous shower head.
Generally a lovely cottage that you just love from the moment you see it. Set in beautiful grounds. Super romantic with lovely small touches like the heart shaped clock on the wall :) I recommend Silvermere as the most perfect place to stay in the Blue Mountains. Love it, love it, love it! Can I move in, please?
